KMU Temmabashi General Clinic
KMU Temmabashi General Clinic

A Clinic Providing Preventive Medical Care and Regional Medical Care
Clinic Overview
The Clinic was started as Osaka Merchandise Mart Medical Center in 1969 and changed its name to Kansai Medical University Temmabashi General Clinic through integration with Kansai Medical University in 2012. At present, it consists of outpatient departments of internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, and breast surgery and the General Physical Examination Center.
The General Physical Examination Center, which receives over 20,000 people/year for medical examinations, is certified as an excellent general facility for medical examinations by the Japan Society of Health Evaluation and Promotion. Since preventive medical care is becoming increasingly important with the superannuation of Japan’s population, we aim to become a Physical Examination Center that can flexibly respond to varied needs of patients.
In the outpatient departments, specialist doctors from each department engage in medical consultations, so as to provide medical services that cover primary care as well as more specialist medical treatment. We focus on providing seamless medical care for outpatients who were identified as having any abnormality at the attached Physical Examination Center, and serving as a family doctor for people living or working near the Hospital to visit easily.
Furthermore, we support patients requiring advanced examinations or medical care by collaborating with KMU Group facilities.
We also continue to accept residents as a venue for them to learn preventive medical care in practice.
